Now that both Barack Obama and John McCain have chosen their
running mates, it is time to ask the obvious question: "What is it
exactly that the vice president does every day?" What are the roles
and responsibilities of the vice president? Where does the VP live?
And what is required to become a VP? Let's take a look.
There are only three basic requirements that must be met to be
chosen as a vice presidential candidate. According to the
constitution, you must be a natural born citizen of the United
States, you must be at least 35 years old, and you must have spent
