BAAM Taps Meyohas as EMEA MD

LONDON (HedgeWorld.com) - The Blackstone Group's fund of funds unit, Blackstone Alternative Asset Management, hired Olivier Meyohas away from Goldman Sachs to be a managing director in its London office and head up its business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Mr. Meyohas has spent the past 16 years at Goldman, most recently as a managing director and co-head of the firm's Pension Advisory Group.

BAAM's Gideon Berger, who had been the head of the London office since 2006, has been named Chief Risk Officer and will move back to New York, according to a news release from Blackstone.
