A measure that would increase traffic impact fees charged to
developers to pay for road and transit improvements will go to
voters this November. Washington County Commissioners unanimously
voted to place the measure on the Nov. 4 General Election ballot.
The new fees, which would be known as transportation development
taxes, will be increased by 150 to 250 percent from current traffic
