After their tough baptism in National League Two, Mounts Bay have
had one week to shake themselves down and prepare for tomorrow's
Cornish derby against visiting Redruth (3pm).
While the Bay were stumbling to a mud-splattered, frustrating 14-
7 defeat at Tynedale, Redruth sparkled in their opening, free-
flowing 33-28 victory over Birmingham-Solihull and Bay head coach
Adrian Bick knows an early watershed has arrived for his team.
"It's a benchmark for us and now we'll see what we're made of,"
said Bick. "We're the underdogs, which isn't a bad thing and after
Tynedale the boys are out of their comfort zone. We're still on a
learning curve and this is another step on the ladder for us"
