Valley Road, 4.5 miles southwest of Dubuque COST: $5 for adults; $3
for kids 12 and younger
Four years after its founding, Friends of the Dubuque County
Conservation Board is "going public" with a chili feed.
The Oct. 12 event, held at Swiss Valley Nature Center, will serve
as a fundraiser, as well as raise awareness of the Friends group and
show off the county's Swiss Valley facility.
Besides a choice of chili and hot dogs, guests can take a wagon
ride along Swiss Valley trail and see first-hand the park ...
