WOOSTER -- A local business has been named among the country's 50
fastest-growing manufacturers by a national media outlet.
Collier Well Equipment and Supply, located south of Wooster on
state Route 3, was recognized by Inc. Magazine as the 34th fastest-
growing company in the United States over a three-year span, and it
was one of just two Ohio businesses to crack the top 50.
In addition, the company ranked No. 1,141 among the 5,000 fastest-
growing companies, regardless of industry.
"It's really exciting for us," said Collier Chief Executive
Officer Mike Hooper, a former president of Crown, who purchased
