Students from across North Lincolnshire will experience first-
hand the incredible energy and rhythms of live African dance and
drumming as a world-renowned Rwandan youth theatre group returns to
the UK.
Booked by North Lindsey College as part of its cultural awareness
programme, the theatre group, called Mashirika, consists of young
survivors and refugees from the Rwandan genocide.
The theatre group has now been booked county-wide allowing up to
3,000 people the opportunity to see the stirring, inspirational and
thought provoking performance.
The group has performed before world leaders at the G8 Gleneagles
Summit, and at the 10th anniversary of the Rwandan genocide ...
