WASHINGTON, Sept. 18 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Five letter carriers who helped rescue nearly 100 people from a three-alarm fire at a senior citizens' apartment building in Oakland, California were presented today with the 2008 "Hero of the Year" Award by the National Association of Letter Carriers.

William H.
