The No. 21 Missouri Tigers football team was no problem for No. 1
Ohio State in Columbus, losing to the Buckeyes, 35-14.
The game was the eighth time since 1971 that MU had played a No.
1 team, and MU was perfect - it had lost all eight.
Corby Jones was the leading Tiger rusher with 91 yards on 20
carries. He hit 6 of 11 passes good for only 20 yards. OSU rushed
for 320 yards and passed for 211 more.

In other football action, Westminster College quarterback Justin
Peery completed 39 passes good for 563 yards and seven touchdowns as
the Blue Jays beat Greenville College, 63-61, with a 2-point
conversion.
