As Hurricane Gustav made its way across the Gulf of Mexico headed
for an inevitable landfall along the Louisiana coast, residents were
evacuated and businesses shuttered, leaving their owners once again
weighing the benefits of relocating to higher ground.
But that elusive safe haven may be farther away than once
thought.
New Orleans business owners began to look to Baton Rouge as a
logical place to expand or move businesses hit hard by Hurricane
Katrina three years ago after that city largely escaped damage.
After Gustav's wavering storm path took it closer to Baton Rouge
