LA MIRADA - The husband of a Biola University professor who was
critically injured in last week's Metrolink train collision is
showing signs of improvement, school officials said Thursday.
Mike McReynolds, the spouse of Biblical studies instructor Kathy
McReynolds, suffered "life-threatening" head and chest injuries in
the crash in Chatsworth.
"Mike is doing better and (doctors) were able to remove his
breathing tube Tuesday," said Biola spokeswoman Jenna Bartlo. "He is
still in critical condition and remains in ICU."
The campus, which is a private Christian school, has responded to
the crisis by offering prayers and sending cards.
