Article: Supreme Court chief justice delivers state of the judiciary address

The chief justice of the Missouri Supreme Court highlighted a local senator's "enhanced interest" of Missouri's nonpartisan court plan during Tuesday's annual state of the judiciary address to the Legislature.

In response to public scrutiny, Chief Justice Laura Denvir Stith announced that the court is "working to improve its operation" by posting dates, times and locations of meetings of commissions that select Supreme Court nominees.
