Article: U.S. District Court in Pennsylvania rules cell phone hazard claims preempted

The Federal Communications Act preempts state-law claims alleging that cell phone use has adverse biological effects and that industry players conspired to hide that information, a U.S. District Court in Pennsylvania has ruled. Cell phone users filed a class action in state court against manufacturers and others in the cell phone industry claiming they conspired to hide the adverse biological effects associated with cell phone use.
