Nearly anyone with skills should be able to find a slot in
today's economy. The trick is finding one to live with and build on
over time.
High-tech fields continue to offer plenty of opportunities, but
here is another that offers some opportunity: Sound recording
technology
"It's a good time to be in the music technology business," said
Tom Miller, associate professor at DePaul University School of
Music. "When I started in the Chicago recording business, there were
four recording studios. Now you look in the Yellow Pages and there
are 150."
