CEDAR RAPIDS (AP) - Seven Iowa hospitals will stop issuing birth
announcements at the end of the month, citing security reasons.
The hospitals are: St. Luke's Hospital and Mercy Medical Center
in Cedar Rapids, Mercy Iowa City, University of Iowa Hospitals and
Clinics in Iowa City, Allen Hospital and Covenant Medical Center of
Waterloo, and Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa of Mason City.
Dubuque's hospitals, The Finley Hospital and Mercy Medical Center-
