BOSCOBEL, Wis. - A 32-year-old Boscobel man was being held Tuesday in the Grant County Jail on a $500,000 bond after his arrest on a charge of first-degree intentional homicide.

Douglas E. Stuckey had been in custody Monday after the death of his live-in girlfriend, Donna R. Crogan, 46, of Boscobel. Stuckey appeared in Grant County Circuit Court Tuesday afternoon for a bond hearing.

"A lot of people are in shock probably," said Boscobel Police Chief Gerald Staskal. "Something like this doesn't happen every day in Boscobel."
