Earlier this year, I attended a formal wedding. Naturally, I
noticed the official wedding photographer. From a distance, he
looked like he was wearing a tuxedo. But upon closer examination, I
saw that he was wearing a photographer's vest designed to look like
a tuxedo.
His vest was stuffed with film, batteries, filters, a light meter
and other accessories. Because he did not have a bag to carry, he
was able to move around with great flexibility. Plus, he looked like
part of the formal wedding party.
A few weeks after the wedding, while I was traveling in Cuba, I
bumped into travel photographer Bob Krist. Bob was there leading a
