Article: Australian winemaker looks at listing in New Zealand

BRL Hardy, one of the world's biggest wine producers, is considering a listing on the New Zealand Stock Exchange.

Managing director Stephen Millar said the Adelaide-based company - - Australia's second-biggest wine producer -- had significant investments in New Zealand and the possibility of a dual listing was "clearly one of the issues on our minds".

At the very least, the company was looking to boost its New Zealand shareholder base, cashing in on New Zealanders' burgeoning interest in wine. Mr Millar was in Auckland last week, presenting his company's credentials to brokers and industry representatives.
