Article: Les Noces a huge exercise in teamwork

IF THE theme of so much drama in the International Festival of the Arts has been dislocation and search for identity, then the creative methods have been the opposite. Multi-media shows abound and the term cross-art describes something that uses technology and all the arts to create total theatre. Collaboration rules, OK?

Such a work is Les Noces, words and music by Stravinsky for 10 dancers, two choirs, solo singers and grand pianos -- four of each -- plus percussion, harp and organ.
