New Zealand's Dairy Board yesterday took a bigger slice of the
world's pizza cheese market.
The producer board announced a deal to supply about $40 million
worth of mozzarella cheese to Pizza Hut, the world's biggest pizza
chain. The contract, for one year, more than doubles the board's
production for the chain.
Pizza Hut's New Zealand general manager, Jim Collier, said
yesterday that the Dairy Board had successfully competed against
several other cheese manufacturers for the global contract to supply
