OCEANIA can look forward to hosting the soccer's world cup finals in the second decade of the new century, according to Fifa president Sepp Blatter.

Blatter, in Auckland to open the Oceania football academy, said he favoured an African nation to host the 2006 World Cup but suggested he would like to see Oceania stage the World Cup in 2014 -- with Australia as the probable hosts.
