The New Zealand standardbred breeding industry will have access to one of the all-time North American pacing greats, Beach Towel (p3, 1:50), next season.

Woodlands Stud (South Auckland) will stand the former champion pacer and now one of North America's leading sires alongside shuttle siring sensation, In The Pocket (TT, 1:49.6).

Woodlands manager Jonathon McNeill told The Press yesterday that Beach Towel is due to arrive in Auckland, along with In The Pocket, and Make A Deal, on September 5.

"It is quite exciting to think that we will have Beach Towel in New Zealand," McNeill said.
