AUCKLAND -- Skipper Russell Coutts expects his Team New Zealand
crew to stick together for another three years despite the
possibility wealthy challengers might try to lure key members away.
Coutts said the job for Team New Zealand in the 2003 America's
Cup would be to learn from the successful defence of the cup this
time and improve.
Team New Zealand defended the cup 5-0 against Prada, of Italy, to
become the first syndicate outside the United States to win and keep
the cup.
The win gave Team New Zealand a 10-0 record in its last two cup
campaigns.
Coutts said the next defence would also be under the Team New
Zealand umbrella, and he was confident his core team of designers
and sailors ...
