WHEN DANIEL Day-Lewis dedicated his Best Actor Bafta to his wife,
Rebecca Miller - "the best sport I ever met in my life" - a fortnight
ago, the TV camera alighted on an ethereal-looking woman in the
audience, fighting back tears. You could be forgiven for not
recognising her, so low has the couple's profile been since their
1996 marriage. Not for much longer, however. This month sees the UK
release of Miller's feature film Personal Velocity, and given that it
won the 2002 Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival, it seems
certain that she is in for some serious media attention.
