TWO Birmingham men who conspired to swindle pounds 1.3 million
worth of goods from a major office supplies company, have been
jailed.
A third man was heavily fined.
David Krause, of Greenhill Road, Moseley and Barry Tonks, of
Denholm Court, Erdington, pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy to
steal.
Brian Currier, of Foley Church Close, Streetly, was found guilty
of the same charge following a trial.
Krause was sentenced to three years in prison, Tonks to 18 months
in prison and Currier was fined pounds 5,000 and ordered to pay
pounds 2,000 compensation and pounds 2,500 costs.
Kevin Hegarty, prosecuting, said that Krause, was the parts room
supervisor for Tilbury Douglas, in George Road, ...
