Article: Op man died from blood clot in leg

A WALSALL man who was recovering in hospital after a successful cancer operation died from a blood clot, an inquest heard.

Mr Malcolm Bate, aged 65, of Bloxwich Road survived the operation to remove a cancer growth but collapsed and died suddenly, said Walsall coroner Mr Aidan Cotter.
