After a decade of using Chinese manufacturers for some of its
production, Regal Ware Inc. will start shipping American-made
cookware this month for sale in stores throughout Taiwan and China.
The Kewaskum-based cookware manufacturer has spent several years
negotiating the deal and testing product in a limited number of
Taiwanese stores, President Jeff Reigle said.
Regal Ware has brought almost all of its production back to
Wisconsin after using contract manufacturers in China for a small
percentage of its products.
The shifts in production -- both offshore a decade ago and the
return to Wisconsin -- have not affected staffing, Reigle said in an
