HEATHER MILLS' terrifying story of a childhood abduction at the
hands of a paedophile earned her plaudits for resilience and bravery.
But Sir Paul McCartney's wife is facing legal action from an
acquaintance who claims Ms Mills stole the story of the three-day
ordeal from her.
In Ms Mills' autobiography, A Single Step, released last year, the
former model described an incident in the 1970s which she says left
her psychologically scarred. A subsequent internal examinations by
police doctors had scarred her even further, she claimed.
Margaret Ambler, 35, said in Channel 4 documentary screened on
Wednesday night - Heather Mills: The Real Mrs McCartney - that Ms
Mills exaggerated her story.
