CASH OR company car is a dilemma facing many motorists and there
is no easy answer because every individual has a different set of
circumstances. As a general rule, you ought to consider keeping the
company car if you are still going to rack up a large annual mileage
and if the sums don't add up. If the amount you are offered does not
make it worth your while to go to the hassle of organising your own
set of wheels and you are happy with the tax bill, then fine. Indeed,
if you have a patchy driving record making insurance difficult, or
trouble getting finance, those are more reasons to stick with a
company car.
