It's sleep. Over the next ten years, we will spend 30,000 hours in bed - equivalent to around 30 per cent of our lives. Yet only a few of us will feel we have slept well.

Insomnia, or the inability to sleep, is something that most people will suffer from at some time during their lives. And here in the West Midlands we're worse than most. The Sleep Council has found that only one in ten people in the region claims to have had a good night's sleep.
