MIKE Finger today signed a new contract that keeps him as Peugeot Bullets Birmingham's head coach for next season.

The 32-year-old American agreed terms with Bullets' new owner Craig Bown before returning to his native Iowa, where he will plan player recruitment.

Finger led Bullets to the Budweiser Play-off Championship in his rookie season of 1997-8. But Bullets, beset by player clashes and off-court uncertainty, finished the campaign just gone trophy-less and seventh in the League.
