The historic city of Seville sits proudly in the Southwest of
Spain, in the heart of Andalusia alongside the Guadalquivir river.
MARTIN McGLOWN witnessed her warmth.
OPEN SPACE: Plaza de Espana, Seville, is built from brick and
ceramics.
THE orange trees which line Seville's stunning avenues mirror the
spirit of this majestic city... colourful, refreshing and
invigorating.
No coincidence then that HRH Princess Elena De Borbon of Spain
last year chose to marry here in one of the biggest spectacles the
country has ever seen.
Within hours of arriving, one thing strikes the visitor. How is
it that a place which is home to 750,000 people can be so tranquil?
