IF you see an empty lorry parked at the backlane of a shophouse
in
Subang Jaya, it could mean one thing - an illegal video game outlet
is in operation!
Subang Jaya Municipal Council president Ahmad Fuad Ismail said
the
lorries are parked there to enable the illegal operators to remove
their machines during enforcement operations.
He said `Tontos' were hired by the operators to monitor the
movement of the council's enforcement officers.
"Once they see that an operation is taking place, the operators
will be informed and the machines will be moved out from the
premises," he said.
He said most operators also placed less than 10 machines at each
premise so that they can be immediately moved ...
