RESIDENTS in Lorong Terasek Kanan, Bangsar Baru, are upset over a
new parking lot operating right in front of their houses.
They say it worsens the traffic problem in the area and they are
also losing their privacy.
The parking lot has 65 bays and it apparently operates seven days
a week.
"The parking operator built an access for outgoing vehicles but
this faces the residents' houses and now more cars are using the
residential road," said one of the residents who declined to be
named.
He said the problem is worse during weekends when people come to
Bangsar to patronise the pubs and restaurants in Jalan Telawi.
"The parking lot is normally busy at night and right until 3am,"
he said yesterday.
