Article: Haggis satisfies the Auld appetite

THE English have traditionally turned up their noses at Scotland's national dish - but now celebrity chef Nick Nairn says haggis is becoming all the rage from Newcastle to Newquay.

A champion of Scots recipes, Mr Nairn believes rocketing haggis sales have been sparked by those south of the Border waking up to the benefits of a stuffed sheep's stomach.

It seems food connoisseurs have overcome the thought of eating entrails - and are beginning to appreciate the fine flavours a good haggis can offer.
