DAVID WITHER has been blethering away, all the while suffering a head-clamping toothache - and I didn't have an inkling until I caught him popping painkillers over lunch. For all his discomfort, grizzly he wasn't.

In fact, more a bear that's got the honey pot than a bear with a sore head.

The man's on a high, an adrenaline buzz brought on by the fact that he's about to launch seven more restaurant-bars in Edinburgh to add to mould-breaking Montpeliers in Bruntsfield, Iguana in Lothian Street and Indigo Yard at the West End.
