HEARTS star Neil McCann today blasted the state of the Tynecastle pitch, saying: "It stinks!"

The condition of the playing surface at the Gorgie ground has become a real worry for the Jambos.

It has gone from being one of the best pitches in the Premier League last season to one of the worst and, during Saturday's 2-1 win over Dunfermline, there were a number of occasions when it affected play. The most notable was when Stephane Adam was left kicking thin air when the ball struck in the surface just outside one of the penalty
