BRITAIN'S first "nut free zone" in a factory has been created by
Marks and Spencer in a bid to allow allergy-stricken children to eat
chocolate.
M&S has launched its first chocolate range to be produced in a
guaranteed nut-free environment in response to the growing problem
of allergies in young children.
One in 200 children in the UK suffers from nut allergies.
And although many chocolates are nut-free, they are often
labelled as unsuitable for allergy sufferers because they have
passed down the same production lines as products containing nuts.
