The Three-day Economist Roundtable Conference with the Pakistani
government ended here today without concrete outcome.
Addressing a press conference at a local hotel this evening, Babar
Ayaz, the Manager Director of Pakistan's Mediators Private Limited
and a co-sponsor of the conference, said that the aim of the moot was
nothing but to provide a chance for foreign investors to have
face-to-face talks with senior Pakistani officials.
No declaration or communique would be issued, he said, adding that
the participants just exchanged views and learned from each other.
Azhar Hamid, the Country Manager of ANZ Grindlays Bank and another
