Article: Economist Roundtable with Pakistani Government Ends

The Three-day Economist Roundtable Conference with the Pakistani government ended here today without concrete outcome.

Addressing a press conference at a local hotel this evening, Babar Ayaz, the Manager Director of Pakistan's Mediators Private Limited and a co-sponsor of the conference, said that the aim of the moot was nothing but to provide a chance for foreign investors to have face-to-face talks with senior Pakistani officials.

No declaration or communique would be issued, he said, adding that the participants just exchanged views and learned from each other.
