Article: Agriculture Ministry Calls for More Rural Conglomerates

China should develop more conglomerates in its wide rural areas, Vice-Minister of Agriculture Wan Baorui said.

The first 327 blocs have been announced after a year's assessment. These conglomerates have as their core rural enterprises with 100 million yuan in capital, 200 million yuan in annual sales income or a capability to earn 10 million US dollars in foreign exchange.
