CHEYENNE -- Meredith Pace will celebrate her 16th birthday
Thursday with a hammer in her hand.
Or maybe a paintbrush.
Or quite possibly a saw.
Pace is one of about 360 young people from seventh grade to
college age from 17 states who will be in Cheyenne this week.
Their goal? To change the world.
They plan to do it a little at a time by helping people fix up
their homes.
The teenagers will repair up to 30 Cheyenne homes during their
time here. They will paint houses and shingle and fix roofs. Some
will build a porch and clean up yards.
They have signed up to be part of World Changers, a nonprofit
organization operated by the North American Missions Board of the
Southern Baptist ...
