LARAMIE -- Highway 130, the Snowy Range Road, between Centennial and Saratoga is tentatively scheduled to open for the season this afternoon, according to a Wyoming Department of Transportation official.

District Maintenance Engineer Tim McGary in Laramie said Thursday that WYDOT maintenance crews have been working the past two weeks to open the road, with crews based in Laramie and Saratoga performing the work.

He said that the opening could be pushed back to Saturday if a last-minute complication arises."On the good days, each crew was able to clear between a half-mile to one mile of roadway," McGary said. "We've had several rotary plows chewing through the deeper drifts, while bulldozers ...
