JACKSON (AP) -- Business leaders are taking a two-pronged
approach to the pullout of Delta Airlines, beseeching the carrier to
reconsider its decision to discontinue service to Jackson Hole and
seeking ways to compensate for the loss.Delta announced last month
that it will no longer offer its three daily Boeing 737 flights
between Jackson and Salt Lake City as of Oct. 1. The pullout will
mean 288 fewer seats every day.More than 30 members of the business
community have heeded a plea from Chamber of Commerce President Bill
Malone and wrote to Delta CEO James Mullin asking for the
opportunity to make a presentation to the airline."Right now we're
