CHEYENNE -- Secretary of State Diana Ohman said Tuesday she is
disappointed that officials at the State Land Office failed to tape
record a public meeting in Sheridan earlier this month.
The Oct. 8 meeting was held to take public comments on proposed
rules governing the disposition and sale of state lands.
At an Oct. 2 State Land Board meeting, Ohman asked State Lands
Director Jim Magagna to tape record all remaining meetings. Ohman
said Magagna agreed to do so.
The board consists of the five statewide elected officials. It is
chaired by Gov. Jim Geringer.
