Article: All go for Edinburgh Park

THE pounds 388 million expansion of Edinburgh Park has finally been the go-ahead after a nervous six-month wait.

The Scottish Executive today approved the scheme which is expected to create 20,000 jobs at the South Gyle site.

The extension will bring two million more square feet in office space and could attract new international companies to the Capital.

It will also include shops, hotels and nurseries and modifications to local roads.
