DEVELOPER Miller Group today said it wants to buy Edinburgh City
Council's stake in the Capital's biggest business park.
Edinburgh Park, which has just been given the go-ahead for a
massive expansion, is currently jointly owned by Miller and the
council.
But yesterday the Evening News revealed the council is set to
sell its 50 per cent share for up to GBP 100 million.
Today Phil Miller, managing director of Miller Developments,
said: "We are aware of the council's interest in selling its share
of Edinburgh Park and are keen to acquire their stake."
Council officials have been ordered to report as soon as possible
on the practicalities of selling the authority's share.
