Indian police have arrested 14 persons and recovered 100 bombs
and
five weapons from some areas of Nandyal, Andhra Pradesh, from where
Prime Minister P.V. Narasimha Rao is seeking re-election, the
National Herald reported today.
According to police sources, the bombs and weapons were recovered
after raids in Avuku and Gadivedu Mandals of the Nandyal
parliamentary constituency.
