Ports of entry have given Henan Province a helping hand in
competing with coastal and border areas, or those near rivers in
developing foreign trade.
The province now has seven ports of entry for land transport,
putting it first among China's inland provinces.
Last year, highways in Zhengzhou, the provincial capital, handled
a total of 2,700 TEUs of import and export containers, as well as
more than 6,800 tons of cargo.
