Article: Ningxia Export Base for Moslem Food

The Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region has become an export base for Moslem food, including fruit of the Chinese wolfberry, edible ferns, milk powder and dehydrated citric acid.

At present, there are more than 260 food enterprises in this, China's only Moslem region, 20 percent of which produce moslem food, according to an official of the regional food association. The food has been exported to more than 30 countries and regions, earning over 17 million US dollars in foreign currency.
