Article: France Commemorates Jews Transportation in Nazi Camps

About one hundred people joined this morning a ceremony in Drancy, northeast of Paris, commemorating 67,000 Jews who were sent from a concentration camp there to Nazi death camps during the 1940-44 Vichy collaboration period.

The ceremony, held at the former site of the concentration camp, was presided by government representative Eric Raoult and prefect of Seine-Saint-Denis Jean-Pierre Duport, and was participated by some survivors of Nazi death camps, Agence France Presse reported.
